Diamond Class

Diamond Class, currently made up of Year 5 and 6 pupils, is taught by Mrs Kendrick and is very lucky to be supported by a teaching assistant each afternoon. The mix of ages provides an ideal opportunity for children to learn from one another, support and challenge one another in an environment that welcomes inquiry, embraces challenge and finds opportunity for growth in failure.

As well as enjoying the classroom-based curriculum, Diamond Class are incredibly fortunate to have access to a beautiful outdoor setting; to make the most of the opportunities our environment presents. The class enjoy Forest School activities and challenging themselves in our outdoor area: on our low ropes/obstacle course and our brand new bouldering wall, which supports the development of both practical skills and social skills, including responsibility, risk taking, independence, teamwork and leadership.
